Tropical Shakeology will be coming soon (Update: available for purchase on Feb14 2012 – click here to purchase). Recently, Carl Daikeler, Beachbody’s CEO provided an update on the weekly coach’s call regarding the planned release of Tropical Shakeology. Carl indicated that he wanted to make absolutely sure that everything was absolutely top notch before the release of the product. I have been part of corporate America for the last 25 years working for large engineering firms and I must say I have been very impressed with Carl’s attention to detail to ensure that his company provides the highest quality of health and fitness products on the market.
Shakeology is currently available in green berry and chocolate. While I like both flavors, chocolate has been my choice since February 2011. I do not go a day without having my chocolate Shakeology as it is my daily nutritious treat. I have written about the benefits of Shakeology before and cannot stress enough how important this has been to my weight loss success and overall health.
Other than having another great tasting option available, Tropical Shakeology will have two additional benefits.
Tropical Shakeology goes VEGAN!
First, Tropical Shakeology will be VEGAN! Currently Shakeology’s protein source is from whey protein isolate, which is a highly regarded protein source. However, for those that wish to avoid dairy and animal products this was a concern. Good news, this will no longer be a concern as the new protein source will be from sprouted brown rice.

Second, Tropical Shakeology is removing the suma root.

Currently drug test cannot distinguish between the plant sterol in the suma root and anabolic steriods which could result in a false-positive. This was obviously a concern for athletes and will no longer be an issue.
It is really hard to improve upon a great product, but if anyone can Carl and Beachbody will find a way. Get ready for another great offering, Tropical Shakeology is coming soon!
